Sid
Sid is a pug who came to HART like all the dogs/pups do, looking for their special someone. Well Sid's picture and story was posted on a message board, it didn't take long before a wonderful lady inquired about him, the only thing was she was in CT. She decided pretty quickly that she was head over heels in love with this special boy, I mean how could you look at that smile and not be in love? Everyone that was lucky enough to experience a Sid moment knew there was truly something special about him. His soon to be mom worked out all the transport details so she could get her boy to his forever home where he could spend his days being loved, being fed, and kept warm during the winters and cool during the summers. 2 volunteers took this precious boy to his first stop, and cried as they saw him leave. He took a big chunk of their hearts with them, as do all the dogs, but this was just one of those "moment's. His transport continued north by the wonderful angels who volunteered their time to take him one step closer to his new family. He reached his destination and the love for him grew. I believe he returned that love fairly quickly, and fit right into the family. His family has kept us updated so much, but sadly I believe some of the updates were lost when we lost our email. For now though until I can see if by chance  I can find them, here are the most recent pictures and update of a VERY happy, want for nothing  handsome fellow. That smile still to this day makes my heart skip a beat. I just want to hug him and see his whole body wag! Thanks to his most fantastic family (2 legged and 4) for taking him in and showing him a dog's perfect world! You are his angels!

Hey Sarah!!

Good to hear from you! Sid is doing GREAT!!!! He is one big handsome spoiled pug! I can't tell you how much we love him. All of our friends think he's just the funniest thing ever - he's a hit with everyone. My three year old nephew ADORES him. We've pretty much stopped calling him Sid and call him "Pug" or "Puggie"! LOL! He's just SUCH a pug!!!
Attaching some pix for you! Thank you again for bringing him into our lives. He is one of a kind and without a doubt one of the best dogs ever!!!
